Atom2RSS bug fixed:

Finally the bug with encoding characters in Atom2RSS was fixed. There was a problem with characters like è or ò. Thanks to all who reported this problem.

RSS directory:

Good news for our RSS directory (2RSS.com): we are #1 when searching rss directory with Google.com!
This happened because Google finally updated their directory. We were added for a while at DMOZ.org but not in Google directory (which uses the same information). Finally, Google directory was updated and gave a boost to our site.

So, now we can say "#1 RSS directory". Thanks to you all!

Today a few words about this interesting free application. As you can find on their site "nntp//rss is a Java-based bridge between RSS feeds and NNTP clients, enabling you to read your favorite RSS syndicated content within your existing NNTP newsreader". It allows you to access RSS from news or email programs (Outlook Express, for instance), without an RSS reader.

It's basically a Java application you have to install on the server (needs Java run-time) and opens NNTP port (119) for NNTP clients to access RSS. Using it you can provide NNTP access to your visitors, accessible directly from Outlook Express for instance.
